Safe and Supported: Combatting sexual harassment toward fundraisers

Recently, I joined some brilliant fundraisers for a podcast discussion about how to address sexual harassment in fundraising. It’s a challenging issue, especially when the harasser is a major donor. Ultimately, nonprofits may have to make tough decisions about when to walk away. From the conversation, our research team is focused on distributing more case studies and scenarios from the interviews we’ve conducted. These materials will help audiences understand the complexity of the issue and conduct trainings to prepare fundraisers to deal with a similar situation.
